The short answer: The Dauntless is a full-grain leather, short-cuff motorcycle glove with protection you usually only find on race gloves: a pinky bridge, a hard palm slider and protective knuckles. Touchscreen fingertips, sizes S–XXL, $95 with free US shipping. Built for everyday street riding, for riders who want real protection without a stiff gauntlet.
Riders who skip gloves usually give the same reasons: they kill the feel of the bike, they’re uncomfortable, they bunch up. Race gloves protect your hands, but they’re too stiff for everyday riding. The Dauntless is our answer: race-glove protection in a short cuff you’ll wear on every ride.
— Matt Libby, founder, U.S. Coast Guard veteran
In a low-speed fall your hand goes down first. The pinky is the weakest finger and usually the first to touch the pavement, where it can get bent back. The bridge links it to the ring finger so it has support.
A hard TPU shell sits on the palm, backed by abrasion-resistant leather. It’s designed to slide instead of grab if your hand meets the pavement.
Perforations on the palm and back of the hand keep air moving. The short cuff closes with an adjustable leather strap. Touchscreen fingertips mean you can work your phone or GPS without taking the gloves off.
Sizing: Wear them snug, with no empty space at the fingertips. Full-grain leather loosens a little as it breaks in. See the sizing chart and our guide to how motorcycle gloves should fit.

Snug, with no empty space at the fingertips. Full-grain leather loosens a little as it breaks in, so a snug fit is the right fit. If you are between sizes, check the sizing chart.
A leather strap that links your pinky to your ring finger, so the pinky cannot bend back on its own if your hand hits the ground.
Yes. The fingertips are touchscreen compatible, so you can use your phone or GPS with the gloves on.
No. It has race-glove features like a pinky bridge, hard palm slider and protective knuckles, but a short cuff for everyday street riding. For track days, most riders choose a full gauntlet.
The Dauntless ($95) is full-grain leather with a pinky bridge and hard palm slider, for more protection. The Steadfast ($54) is a lighter, more breathable glove for spring and summer.
Free US shipping on orders over $90, and the Dauntless qualifies on its own. Orders ship from San Diego within 3 days. Returns are accepted within 30 days if the gloves are unused and in the original packaging.

Great features for a glove in this price range. The flexing knuckle is the best.

My go to glove.

Dauntless is almost a perfect glove. The finger bridge, heavy duty stitching, wrist and palm protection is spot on. All this and being one of the most comfortable gloves I have worn. I would highly recommend these gloves to anyone. Thanks for the hand written note.

I was not sure about these but I thought they were cool looking. I have been riding with them now for about 4 months and I love them.
